Happy families visit Kota Kinabalu,Sabah……..
Hi..ladies & gentleman…..Aiya..me longtime no update my wordpress here due to me busy…emmm not really busy la…juz no mood to update here after visit Kota Kinabalu,Sabah last month (6th June 2010 til 11th June 2010).When i’m still working on 5th June 2010…tht day me no mood to work felt like wanna went home early bcoz on 6th June 2010 early morning wanna woke up early & long day drove journey.On the 6th June 2010 i woke up at 0300hrs very early morning bcoz it time to get ready to our journey to Sabah.After this or tht around 0415hrs start our journey tht time in my car got my mother & my youngest sister.Tht day i just slept 5hrs….eerrrr…so sleepy…..around 0420hrs reach my broinlaw’s house in Tunggulian…after that around 0440hrs reach 1 of my colleque’s house at Tanjong Maya…his name called Shaiful Areef after tht…around 0500hrs reach another collegue’s house his name called Hj Saiful Nairul Azme.Then we all four like me,my broinlaw,Shaiful Areef & Hj Saiful were discuss what should we do later….After 5-10mins we all start our journey…my god frm Tanjong maya til Kiudang we drove about 60-70km/hrs bcoz the road there under construction i mean repair all main road there…so tht we all have to drive very nice & steady…but no worries me,Shaiful Areef & Hj Saiful are Professional Driver ever took Defensive Driving Course in Megamas…anyway thanks to my company gave us chance to take this course…juz only my broinlaw haven’t sit on this course but no worries we can show him how we drive.
Around 0545hrs ,we reach Kuala Lurah custom…custome open at 0600hrs so tht we take chance to take another hot coffee in the car tht time we were Q number 10car(s)….after few mins later at our back a lots more car to come…luckily we all plan wokeup early & Q at Kuala Lurah custome early morning.After 0600hrs,custom gate open thn we start our journey after 40-50mins reach a small town call Limbang this small town belong to Sarawak.Then we stop by there like went to toilet & buy some breakfast & make hot coffee..after rest 30mins we start our journey again…..im still remember between Limbang & Temburong got a small ferry pay tht ferry fee cost B$4 or Rm$8/trip…..After 2.5hrs we reach Lawas there also got another ferry again ferry fee cost Rm$10/trip…all the way long it got very nice landscape view.When we reach Sipitang,Sabah…….1 of my collegue(Hj Saiful) his ankle pain so tht we got another stopped for body streaching.Hj saiful’s ankle pain bcoz of his height & drive a small car(Toyota Vios) so tht his feet position unfited for him…he should drive big car like Landcruser or Pajero.Sipitang got nice beach landscape view..aiya..i forgot photoshoot there…..after rest continue our journey after 3hrs driving……i mean total driving hours were 6hrs when we all reach Kota Kinabalu…i mean Sabah capital a big town…..my goodness…got very very very heavy traffic jam tht time….we traffic jam almost 2 hrs.Around 2pm we reach 1Borneo Mall…this is latest Shopping mall in Sabah.And we all overnite there tht hotel call Courtyard Hotel it four star hotel….After tht we all checkin tht hotel & rest & hav’in heavy meal there in 1Borneo Mall.Now below here i will attach some photos tht we all hav’in visit Sabah & hope u all like it….
Below photo here tht i attach i use my Canon EOS 5D MKII with 24-105mm & 50mm lens annnnd tht time i shoot with JPEG not RAW.I shoot JPEG coz save my CF card & i wanna to learn with JPEG it was my first time use DSLR to shoot with JPEG.A bit difficult to shoot when mistaken it will over exposure…but photo quality got a bit different…Shoot JPEG will miss a bit photo quality shoot RAW will be full quality.Bcos of save CF card space or save time to download to computer so tht i have too shoot JPEG.But after i adjust photos & develope at Karen,Anthony & Company photo Studio in Kuala Belait….it very awesome…..it was my first time develope photos there and also thanks to Jan Shim tht introduce to me…It very smooth after they develope those photos i saw it very nice very naturel..it cool…!Thank You Karen,Anthony & company…….and also to Jan Shim.
This was at CourtYard Hotel bedroom it king size room but still very small for me & it cost Rm$229/nite.In this photo were my mother,youngest sister & two nieces.
This photo was took at CourtYard Restaurent & it was next morning"7th June 2010".Its free breakfast if without coupon cost Rm$17.80/person...This restaurent was at 6th floor when view outside can see very nice landscape.

This is my collegue(Hj Saiful)with his wife & their children.And photoshoot at outside CourtYard restaurent.
After breakfast at CourtYard we all visit Aquarium at USM.See my youngest sister explain about sea animals to my two niece.Entrence fee there cost adult Rm$10,child Rm$5.
This is my mother..she said.."My god this was my first time saw tht huge fish tank".I told my mother "mother this was not tht big in Singapore more big & in KL also big & in Thailand also big.." and i told my mother tht"Mother nevermind when i got budget i will bring you visit Singapore or KL or Thailand aquarium.No worries...!After my mother heard tht she very happy........but she worry sit on flight...nvrmind i must bring her for next vacation.
My broinlaw explaining about those fish in tht tank..he told his daugther "see see see got nemo fish there"Hehehhehe...my broinlaw also know about "NEMO" story....and my niece also busy photoshoot just like me....
After my two niece photoshoot with big fish juz now.....Now my mother turn she also want to photoshoot with tht big fish...See my mother she so happy...My mother said"Woah...kerapu...so big la kerapu fish ni..."
Before my mother want to photoshoot with this big fish my two niece "bising" wanna photoshoot with this big fish first.And my niece ask my why Brunei no aquarium?I told them " when got meet Brunei G'ment officers both u ask those Brunei g'ment officer why Brunei don't have aquarium..."
All above tht photos were we visit USM’s aquarium & i use EOS 5D MK ii with 24-105mm lens plus 580 EXii speedlight.And if Brunei our own country got big aquarium “kan bisai kan kan kan”….Aquarium is very good for all people….
Now below here i will attach photos tht we all visit Lok Kawi Zoo.I also use EOS 5D MK ii with 24-105mm f/4 lens & 580 EXii speedlight.
Before we entre Lok Kawi Zoo we got group photoshoot.Do u all why this i want took this group photoshoot?And why the title here called"Happy families visit Sabah?"Bcoz last mins tht we all just knowing tht Shaiful Areef & Hj Saiful got related with me..I mean we are relatives NOT colleques.They r frm my mother side...you know my mother mix blood.So tht when my mother ask some question with Shaiful Areef & Hj Saiful who r ur grandparents & parents...last-last aiya ur grandparents were our relatives & bla bla bla like tht...after i heard tht "Aiyo,lastime we r colleques now become relatives"Then i ask my mother wat title should i call Shaiful Areef & Hj Saiful? My Mother said "u should called them uncle"Im so happy la...i got another two uncle...wat to do when our grand grand parents after married miss contact all relatives & lastime our grandparents dont hv mobile phone or internet.So now when time working we are colleques after working hours or off day we are closed relatives.....see this group photo we all show happy families face....
After paid zoo fee adult cost Rm$15 child Rm10...See...they very interested see "Gajah"

After 2hrs walk & visit tht zoo my two niece start tried.Tht zoo was not small&got small hill so tht kids easy got tried but they happy...Not just my nieces tried Hj Saiful& Shaiful Areef's children also felt tried tht time.But good for our health...with long hours walk.
This photo shows tht in Lok Kawi Zoo also got animal show...Its show tht how smart are those birds,ular sawa & orang Utan.This show start frm 1115hrs-1200hrs...we all very enjoy to see this show...and i miss a lot photoshoot here bcoz this show too good very interested.
Below photos i will attach tht me,my mother & my youngest sister visit Kota Kinabalu Town at the Bugis Beach.Tht time we photoshoot in afternoon.And tht time was 10th June 2010,tht time we all separate Hj Saiful & Shaiful Areef went to shopping with their family…
Tht time my broinlaw already went back to Brunei.So tht me,my mother & my sister visit or shopping by our ownself…tht time i already know how to use the road there.All road there are in my “otak” already…it was teach by Shaiful Areef bcoz he is expert Kota Kinabalu town and i also got rosd map around there. I get it frm hotel there……so tht i’m very brave to drive around there but mostly we juz walk bcoz walking can see more things….now below photo i photoshoot with my mother & my youngest sister at Bugis beach and i use my EOS 5D MKii with 50mm f/1.4 & speedlight 580 EXii.

This photo i shoot with 50mm f/1.4 with flash...first time i shoot without flash,my mother&my sister in this photo was very dark so tht i hv too use speedlight to "tembak"so tht looks more smooth...&their face look brighten.

This group photoshoot on 11th June 2010 early morning.Eos 5D Mkii 24-105mm Av mode f/5.6 ,ISO 400 & without speedlight....We all stay in this Deleeton Hotel frm 7th june - 11th June..price not bad King size bed with big room just cost Rm139/nite.After taking group photo thn we start out journey back to our lovely country "Brunei Darussalam"...When we went back Brunei we took 9hrs plus to reach Kuala Lurah custom bcoz of heavy traffic jam.
Ok…guys……..thank you all that stop by reading my stroies about my “Happy Families visit Kota Kinabalu,Sabah” trip…….I’m very enjoy this visit Sabah trip & we all very happy.I hope next vacation is…………??????????? emmmmmm….visit Singapore?Visit Kuala Lumpur? Visit Thailand?Visit China??????don’t know lah………anyway…thank you all tht like to see my photos & read my story……
